Frankincense (the oleo-gum resin of Boswellia; olibanum)

Frankincense is the dried oleo-gum resin that exudes from the wounded stems of Boswellia, gathered by tapping.

Incensole acetate has been isolated from Boswellia sacra resin. The house calls the scent lemony, piney and balsamic: our reading, not a source’s.
